Gardening has been a passion of mine since I can remember. Growing up in Northern Indiana farm country, vegetable gardens were essential to get us through the long, cold winters. I came to Florida on vacation and fell in love with the ocean. I went back home, sold my house, packed up our bags and moved here in 1992. I have not regretted that decision one bit. I have one wonderful husband, three fantastic daughters (Angela, Kaycee, and Ginny), three glorious grandchildren (Dominic, Kyle, Graicee and Brayden). And I cannot forget my four-legged friends (three dogs and four cats) who have allowed me to be their human. And completed my Master’s Degree in Environmental Science with specialization in Policy & Management in 2010.
